break up

so my ex broke up with me about a year ago. but since then we have hooked up on many occasions. over the times we hooked up he would elk me things that he still cared about me and still wanted to be with me. i always thought i’d be the girl he’d end up with when he was ready for a relationship again. well last time we hooked up, about a week later i found out he was talking to this girl he had been on and off talking too since we broke up. and my heart hurts so much. he won’t talk to me, because i want to at the very least be civil with him. and i am such a mess and i don’t know what to do because i truly believe he still cares about me but i wish he wasn’t with another girl.
