9 month old waking every 1-2 hours

About a month ago my daughter started waking every 1-2 hours screaming and wanting to nurse. After 3 days I took her to the doctor and found out she had hand foot and mouth. It's been a month and she is still doing the same thing! She doesn't know how to fall asleep without the boob and refuses a pacifier. Her 2 year old brother's room is right next to ours so I can't let her fuss too much for fear she will wake him. Will we ever sleep again?! What are your suggestions? I need to wean when she is around 13ish months for some medical things I need to take care of that I can not be breastfeeding for.
