Why does it seem like everyone thinks it’s required to come out? I see so many teens posting “I’m scared to come out because my parents won’t accept me” and it annoys me because I don’t feel like people have to come out. It should be a normal thing now days and not this over exaggerated thing. Just bring your girlfriend or whatever to dinner with your parents and let them figure it out just like you would if you were straight. Maybe it’s just because I dislike unnecessary confrontation.
