Do y’all think it would look good?

Okay so I’ve been wanting to get my hair done for a while now since it’s at the length I’ve been wanting. However I really don’t want to spend a lot of money on it because realistically I work all the time and my hair is always up. I used to have bright red hair and I loved it,but it faded way to quickly. I also spent a lot of money on it and I hated that it did fade in like 3 days. So I thought about maybe going a platinum greyish. Since it would be different. But I’ve always had either black or red hair and a lot of people said it wouldn’t look good. Do y’all think it would look good? I just don’t want to waste my money on something that’s going to look horrible.

Unfortunately, it’s not about whether or not it would look good. Your hair may not be able to get light enough to be a platinum grey without causing a lot of damage. I’m a hairstylist and so many clients bring me pictures of that color and so many of them have been coloring their hair darker for years. It takes multiple appointments to get it to the color they want without frying their hair off. Make a consultation appointment with your stylist and have a conversation about what you’re looking for. You have to tell them about any color you’ve had on your hair so they know how to appropriately treat it. I hope it works for you!

I tried platinum grey hair and it was 120$ for the first dye and my hair turned ducky yellow. It takes multiple appointments of bleaching and coloring for it to come to the right color so if you dont want a lot of upkeep dont pick platinum. It's very costly and takes a long time to achieve that color .

What about a maroon or auburn color?

I don’t think black looks good on you. It washes out your face and you definitely won’t be able to go blonde. Your hair is going to be fried.

I think anything would look good , but I agree with others that it’ll take a lot of work.. I think purple would bring out the colour of your eyes like crazy

You won’t be able to get that color in one sitting since your hair is so dark. It will take a few trips to the salon to achieve that color
