Noise maker

Hey moms my LO is a month old and since he was born he has always made grunting noises. The pediatrician said it’s normal and it’s because he is learning how to contract his muscles to have a bowel movement. I am EBF, so of course all of his BM’s are loose and watery. My question is how normal is this for other moms and their babies? When will baby stop? I am a FTM. I just want to make it easier for my LO because sometimes when he is asleep he will make the noises and it sound uncomfortable even though his doctor said it’s not and he is fine.
