I’m lesbian. And in 4 days I’ll be marrying my fiancé. My mom is religious and has her views, which I respect. But she just told me “I’m not happy nor do I accept y’all getting married because it should be a man and a woman, not two women, but I’ll always have your back”. Then she went on to saying she thinks the only reason I’m with a girl is because of my weight...and that I probably think only girls will want me...It kinda hurt my feelings, a lot. Is she wrong for saying this? It makes me feel horrible, this is the reason I didn’t come out until a year ago. Like I’m to the point of not even wanting her there...
