Can I hear your Clomid experiences please?

Question

After ending up in hospital Tuesday evening with a ruptured ovarian cyst, I was told I have lazy ovaries and prescribed Clomid. I'm due to start taking it this Sunday. I'd love to hear everyone else's experiences, good or bad, with the drug. Forewarned is forearmed, right?

Hi kelly and brook! My 1st round of clomid was at 50mg, which didn't force ovulation so my Dr increased it to 100 mg and I conceived!  Unfortunately,  I lost it at 5 weeks.  My next round,  I fell asleep early and didn't take one of my doses until the next morning,  still ovulated according to opk but didn't conceive.  One more round,  nothing,  so hubby and I took a break for the summer to try to relax and enjoy life.  I'm now on cycle day 13. Took clomid days 3-7 and started opk on day 10 (Dr said day 11 but I wanted to make extra sure). We are bd every other day,  even while getting negatives on opk, just to make sure we don't miss the surge.  When it comes to side effects,  the only I've had was one hot flash.  It was a terrible 5 minutes that caught me off guard.  I get flushed and warm easily, esp at night and will wake up sweaty. It's not bad enough to deter me though. I hope this helps. Sorry to hear about your cyst rupturing...bet that was painful. I currently have one in each ovary and two fibroids in my uterus. I am due to begin clomid on October 3rd and curious about other's experiences as well...thank you for the question! Anyone???
