Is going from 1 kid to 2 harder than none to 1? Please comment why!

My son is turning 8 months old and I’m already getting baby fever 🥵🥵 ive heard going from 1 baby to 2 is harder than none to 1. What do y’all think? And any advice for having 2 under 2? (If we do 😬) thanks!

Yeah that’s why I waited til my daughter was 5 to have another.. she’s been a big help since. Her brother is 9 months now. Everyone’s situation is different. I say I handled it better the second time around rather than the first time.

It really depends on the baby. For me going from none to one was the hardest (I have four and the youngest two are only thirteen months apart) my first was a very difficult baby that never slept and adjusting to life with a baby that always depends on you from only worrying about yourself was hard for me. Not being able to get up, take a shower, and go grocery shopping in an hour vs a 3 hour trip was exhausting. After my first the other three didn’t really make a difference. If my son would’ve been my first I would probably feel differently. (He was an angel baby)

My eldest was 4 when his brother was born; his independence makes quite manageable...so far anyway (baby is only 4 months).
I think 2 under 2 must be pretty tough though!!

Right now my child is almost 4 and I’m pregnant it is INSANE! You have two people depending on you for everything and keep two entertained by different things I can’t even imagine when they both need something at the same time. In your case chasing a toddler while trying to feed or putting down the baby for a nap and your oldest slamming toys or throwing a fit. I don’t know how people do it and I am scared for my life
