My boyfriend and I have almost reached 4 years. We started dating right before graduating high school. It was fine for the first year but then a rift between him and my parents started. Which led to the next 3 years of them hating each other. I managed to separate them both, unfortunately. He’s very strong in his views, going so much as to stepping on others toes about situations.

During the relationship, he has been mostly loving and always wanting to spend time with me. While I do adore that side, we butt heads quite often. One recent argument involved calling me a c*nt. I know 🙄. We’ve had good times and a friend agrees that we do ‘click’, but it doesn’t last for long.

We lived together for a short while until the ‘two week breakup’ of which I then kicked him out. We’ve lived separate for the last year. Now we’re looking at places, but I would rather have friends as roommates.

I haven’t talked to him in the last few days to see if I could ‘live’ without him. He’s obviously blown up my phone, angry that I’m ignoring him. When I really just don’t know how to break up with him. I have no resentment towards him and I will still love him. I think I’d be just fine if I seen him with someone new.

Also: the car that we both paid for is in his name, we agreed to put it in my name. I’m slightly afraid he’ll be so caught up in emotion he’ll take it.
