So confused!!

My husband and I have been trying to conceive since September. We had a miscarriage in December at 8 weeks and have been trying to conceive again. I've taking 3 pregnancy tests and they all have been negative. I had some spotting two days after my ovulation date. Anyone else have the same issue and should I wait long to test?
