Tips on losing weight?

I used to be really fit in high school because I worked out so much (only 3 years ago), since then I have gained 20 pounds, I feel like I look like a completely different person...

I have worked out sometimes but not regularly because it’s hard without sports or workout buddies, I moved far from my home town about a year ago and have started hanging out with several people who want to be “workout buddies” but then they never actually want to.

I just feel really far from where I was, I used to be really interested in health and all that but recently I feel like, I have no idea what’s healthy.

I want to start losing weight and being more active, do you guys have any tips on starting weightloss that aren’t too daunting?
