Longest weekend, but most amazing and life changing! I went in Thursday evening for an induction and it ultimately failed after trying everything! Started on prostaglandins, peanut ball, they broke my water TWICE and I was even on pitocin for over 18 hours straight. I ended up with a fever, throwing up, insane shakes, and baby was getting distressed. After trying for over 30 hours we were rushed to emergency c-section. He was born 4/20 12:59 am. He also had a fever when he was born, but it was gone within the half hour. Turns out he was too big and I was too small - which was devastating to hear after having tried natural for so long. This was not anyway near how we thought our labor would go, but he is with us and so loved and that is all we care about 💙💙💙 we love you our sweet Jaxon James - you were worth it 💕 I would do it over again in a heartbeat!!
