My boyfriend fingered me today and about a few hours later i went to the bathroom and saw light brown discharge... we have never had sex before. Is this normal?

Sometimes orgasms help bring on your period, or he could have just happened to loosen up some old blood from around your cervix if he went in pretty deep. 
I've definitely seen old blood on the cotton swab after they swab me for a test at the gynecologist. Your cervix is like a little dome/cone shaped bone and sometimes blood can just get stuck up around it.

It could be a hint of blood mixed with your discharge. Wait til like a day or two.. if it’s still like that.. see a doctor

It’s not normal, but it is however common. He probably was just a little bit too rough, or his finger nails are a bit too long and he cut you. Or he induced your period (i’m not sure how long you’ve been experiencing the discharge for)
