Pregnant!!!!! What do I do next???

Just found out I’m pregnant today. Don’t know how far along I am but I was wondering what is the first step I take after I taking a at home pregnancy test and it coming out positive. Do I need to go to an obgyn first or my primary doctor first  an schedule a prenatal visit or what? Will they give me an ultrasound the day of my appointment or will they wait?

You can calculate how far along you are approximately based on your last period. That’s what your OB will use too, at least initially. Call your OB office on Monday and ask when they would like to see you. For most uncomplicated pregnancies the OB will see you for an initial visit sometime between 6-12 weeks but it varies a lot from office to office.

What they had me do was call obgyn & tell them that you want to start prenatal appointments because you’ve recently found out your pregnant & they will do the rest from there

You also might want to start taking a prenatal vitamin, and make sure that you are drinking plenty of water. 
Avoid cigarettes and alcohol, and get plenty of rest.
