Can he be charged?

He’s sitting in jail on a convict with weapon charge since he has a felony 
HOWEVER 
The gun is a 22 
I bought it for the kids
The gun was in our home unloaded sitting in the attic which is locked up we hid the key so the kids could NEVER access it...
It was bought for the kids to go hunting with......
My husband hunts but used a friends gun im december 
The police went on his FB page printed a pic of my husband holding a dead buck up by the antlers 
I did not file the charges the police did on their own 
They had me fill out a statement that essentially stated I purchased the 22 for the kids to hunt with and the gun is in our home

Yes and I hope he does get charged for killing an innocent beautiful animal, putting it on Facebook to show people he’s just shot an animal is disgusting!! Can’t stand people like him.. that’s cruel. Cold hearted!!

Of course he can be charged.  He broke the law and posted it to the internet.  What did he expect?

Yes he can be charged, if he didnt petition for his rights back and receive them, then yeah no shit he can be charged. The gun was not in a locked gun safe that only you have acess to ie only you have the key with you at all times, only you know the code, etc.  He could have gotten to the gun, and hes a felon. So yes he can be charged he will be charged and thats 2 to 5 years or whatever his original sentence was if it was longer than 5 years.
