Emotions after adoption

I've made the decision to put my baby up for adoption amd have already chose the parents. They are family friends. I'm 18 weeks and the adoptibe mom has decided to go to the anatomy scan ultrasound with me. I know this is what is best for my child and I dont expect to change my mind but how did you ladies who went through with adoption feel afterwards? Was there regret? If so how did you cope with it? Is it normal to feel guilt before the baby arrives? I just need advice
