When did you have sex after giving birth naturally?

Im 3weeks 4 days post partum, im not wanting sex just yet 😂 however im just curious to know when you ladies had sex after birth...

Attempted at 6 weeks, regretted not waiting until 8-9 weeks

Felt comfortable trying it for the first time at 11 weeks pp but found out I had granular scar tissue from birth that needed to be burned off so I had to wait another 5 weeks. My poor, sweet, patient husband 😂

I waited till my 6 week appointment with my dr. He said everything looked good and my husband and I tried it that night. It was miserable. Took a few tries but it’s good now :)

On the day my baby turned one month. Just couldn’t wait anymore. My sex drive was on 100. Now baby is 6month and it’s at a 5😂

I had a second degree tear and about 10 stitches with both of mine and was able to have pain free sex at around 5 weeks postpartum. They suggest you wait to be cleared at your 6 week check up, but it’s really whenever you feel comfortable so it could be later than 6 weeks.

I had tearing and a granulosa that needed to treated so it was a long while.  However we made sure to be active in other ways to keep us feeling close just a little while after giving birth.  There are lots of ways to have sex without having sex.
