OPK strip like this??

Question

So I know your not supposed to use OPKs after ovulation, but I did lol. But now confused as to why it’s this dark on cycle day 27 12DPO? Do they go like this before AF? 
Also had spotting 10DPO and 11DPO and now on 12DPO it’s gone like a yellow colour, I have no infections etc. AF due tomorrow or Thursday did a PT yesterday and was negative. Thanks for any input.

It's very normal to have a LH surge before and after your period, that's why it's not a good idea to keep taking opks after you've had a positive! 😂

There are 3 reasons to get a blazing positive OPK
1) your ovulating, if this is the second blazing positive in one cycle it means the first ovulation didn’t happen and to get baby dancing
2) you can have a LH before the start of your period
3) this one is rare - it could be pregnancy, this usually is followed by having a positive pregnancy test. 
Have you done a pregnancy test recently? If not maybe do a test tomorrow if af hasn’t shown up 🤞🏻
