We've Decided..
After 2 years of officially TTC and nearly 3 years before that of not using protection and STILL not having any luck getting pregnant (Thank you, PCOS, I was diagnosed with last October. 🙄😭)..
My husband and I have decided:
1. We keep trying, the natural way. Let it be what it be!
2. We are going to start the adoption process, finally!
Adoption has always been something we were both open to and wanting to do, regardless of ability to conceive our own. It is not a "plan b" or anything like that. We had always planned to adopt, the question was when.
I am SUPER EXCITED we have agreed to start the process this year! My husband was so much more open to it and understanding than I thought he would be when I explained my thoughts and feelings recently. I knew he was open to adoption, I just had this feeling he would want to TTC longer before we started to adopt.. but he is happy with doing both simultaneously!
I want to be a mother so badly.. yet I can't see myself going through all these tests, pills, possibly shots, etc to conceive a baby. I just can't see that for myself. If it is an option for you, fantastic and I wish you the best of luck!! I do hope to conceive but if it isn't to happen naturally, I trust that is part of my divine plan as IVF and other options just don't resonate with me personally.
When I invision adoption, my stomach flitters with excited butterflies and I get all sorts of giddy. I know the process will be difficult and even down right heart breaking at times.. but I have this unexplainable feeling; my kids are out there and we are gonna find them and bring 'em home.
We are moving across country this summer. So once we get settled into our new home and state, we will officially begin our adoption journey. We aren't telling anyone yet and I am way to excited, so I'm sharing here. Plus, any of you who have gone through the adoption process.. if you have any info or tips, please guide me!! I want ALL the info possible. We are a military family too so if there are areas where that makes a difference, fill me in on that too, please! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I can't wait to meet my kids, no matter how they find their way into my life, I am here, I am ready as I can be and I am excited to be their mama! 💗
