Shortened cervix ?and leeps

I had a leep last year in may . 
I'm now 10 weeks.  My ob said at 5 months my 20 week scan they will check my cervix . I know in my leep they had to take more than what they have planned . I did have heavy bleeding one day with cramps when I was 6 weeks.  Anyone have any experience with the two?  I'm kinda scared . I just had a friend who had a short cervix and had to get a stitch placed and ended up having to be on bed rest .

You’re most likely gonna be fine. I had a leep after my first pregnancy and was worried as well. My cervix was measured 4 times throughout my second pregnancy, 3 times by a different OBGYN and all had a slightly different number. My last measurement was done by an Ultrasound Technician at my anatomy scan and she measured my cervix way longer than the previous ones so my OBGYN decided I didn’t need anymore ultrasounds after that. I had my son at 38 weeks and 1 day and 0 complications.
