Thoughts on evening primrose oil?

What is it supposed to do exactly? How many capsules do you take?

I’ve heard mixed reviews! I’ve heard take 1-2 1000mg from 36w and from 38 take 3-4. Then there’s also the debate of do you take them all orally or do you insert them all or do you do half and half. 🙈

I think I read 3-4 thousand milligrams, so 3 or 4 pills usually if 1000 milligrams each. Be cautious though. I am doing red raspberry leaf tea and dates and bought the evening primrose oil too, but now I’m reading that while it can induce labor, it can make it last longer too :( now I’m nervous to take it.

EPO didn't do anything for me with my first. My labor was still long and rough. I still tore, but I only pushed for 10minutes. I don't think it did anything so I'm not doing it this time around
