Late period, cervix changed

Me and my boyfriend are not ttc, more of if it happens it happens thing, but i wanted to see if anyone else had this happen to them! AF is 4 days late which never happens. I checked my cervix this morning and it was low and firm but open, but I just checked it again and it’s high, soft, wet, and closed? Maybe I was feeling wrong? Has anyone else had this happen? When should I take a test? My nipples have been sore and I’ve been extremely moody and exhausted but that’s about it!
