Best birth control option?

I'm currently on the shot that everyone on this app seems to hate. I'm wanting to change BC for my own reasoning. Mostly my lack of a sex drive.

Before I was on the shot, I had a huge sex drive. But I was kinda going into a new relationship and knew at some point we would have sex. So I wanted to protect myself from getting pregnant.

Well I feel like that kinda backfired because now I won't get pregnant but I also dont want to have sex.

I used to masturbate or have sex like 3 times a week at least, now I'm lucky if I'm aroused enough to want to do anything 2 times a month. Its absolutely awful. I miss my sex drive. I miss orgasms and easy ones at that.

I don't want to take the pill because its not as effective and I tend to forget things a lot. But I'm open to any other form of birth control.
