Do you think they’d be annoyed

I have 4 good friends, but I’m very close to only two of them I’d like these 2 friends to be godparents to my son however I know it’ll upset the other 2.

But we don’t speak as much nor have they paid much interest in me or my 5 week old. However my other close friends talk to me every day asking how he is doing and how I am. I don’t want to cause drama or upset but I’d love for them to have an important role in his life.

Do I ask them anyway or just ask family to save upset.
