Anyone who's had a D&C after miscarriage

Hello. Today marks 6 weeks since my D&C still no AF and BFNs. On Monday I had horrible cramping, thought my period was starting for sure felt what I thought was AF but just watery discharge. Before bed I went pee and wiped and there was a dark red/brown spot. Was to thick to be just blood looked like discharge or make one clot. Thought for sure I would wake up with AF. No. I didn't. I took a hpt the next day and BFN. Anyone know if that could've been "normal" after D&C or if maybe it could've been implantation and I tested to early? I could really use some advice. When did you get your AF or BFP after D&C. Also called my doctors office. I should be getting a call back tomorrow.
