When does a baby hit viability?

When does a baby hit viability to be born alive? 
I’m super worried about delivering early 
im 20 weeks and want to know when i can stop the worrying..

Doctors USUALLY dont step in if baby is born before 24w which is why the official viability milestone is 24w but just because a baby is born after that point doesnt mean it will be without complications. Every week adds to the chance of survival but theres no clear line that separates survival from not surviving

24 weeks but if you’re almost to the point and something happens they’ll more than likely try to help but the baby will have a very little chance.

It varies from baby to baby but 24 weeks is usually the earliest they will offer medical assistance as younger than that just causes prolonged suffering. 
Girls tend to do better than boys as premie. My daughter was a 27 week delivery. She is 15 years old now and perfectly healthy. She did spend quality time in the NICU.
Also pregnancies with few complications tend to have better developed babies ( lung development being a huge one) than those with complications. Most doctors go on case by case and recommend based on what they feel is best for all.

By 26w a healthy baby with no complications beyond being preterm has a 90% chance in a good hospital. The earliest a baby had survived is 21w
