Paraguard severe cramping

This is my first cycle with paraguard inserted and I am having really severe cramping with it that is not going away with medication, exercise, hot baths or compresses, hydration. Nothing is helping and they’re really really strong and concentrated on my left side. I am still waiting for my actual period and not sure when it is supposed to be coming at all so I’m just guessing these are menstral but they are borderline intolerable how strong they are WHAT CAN I DO
