I haven’t had any doctor appointment until next week and I’m 6w4d . Do I need to go get folic acid and other vitamins myself or wait patiently for doctor appointment for prescription? 
I’m curious cos I hear people say take folic acid

Just go to your local chemist and grab a pregnancy vitamin. My doctor recommended ones with folic acid and iron. The sooner you start the vitamins the more beneficial for you and Bub. 😌

Take prenatals now! You should have started as soon as you found out. Just go to your local supermarket or drug store and buy some, you don't need a prescription

You should have started before ttc or as soon as you found out. Folic acid is most important in those first 6 weeks. Go buy some now.
