When did you wash all of baby’s clothes before their arrival?

I’m due June 8th and want to wash all of my baby’s clothes and put them away. Everyone is telling me to wait until a week or two before to do that but I just have a strong feeling that he is coming early. When did you do all of baby’s laundry and pack the hospital bags?

Why wait? It’s not like they are going to get dirty in the closet or in the drawers...

I’ve been doing laundry as I get things, makes it easier than doing a few loads all at once. That way no matter when baby comes I’ll have things for him 🤗

My daughter came almost 3 weeks early! And I was planning to ash her stuff the week before, so I say don’t wait. These babies are unpredictable and come spontaneously, so I say go ahead and go for it.

I washed them as I had a big enough load and had the nursery set up so I could put them away. Why would you want to do all that laundry a week or two before you are due? Might as well do it as the months go by

I had all this done by 35 weeks. But now I’m currently on maternity leave at 37+5 and kind of bored 😂 but I’m a planner so it was really important to me to feel ready and organized!

I did at 36 weeks with both.

I did some from about 35 weeks and the last bits around 37 weeks. I also packed my bag around 37 weeks but I was told to do it so that it’s ready from 36/37 weeks at least :) x

I am due June 2.  This weekend I am washing some outfits in newborn size and some in 0-3.  I don’t want to rip all the tags off just yet in case she isn’t in newborn for very long (or at all), so then I can return the items for a larger size if needed.  If it looks like she will be in newborn sizes for a while I’ll have my mom or MIL wash some additional clothes for me while I’m in the hospital.  So for now I’m washing about 10 outfits of each.  I say do what makes you feel comfortable!

I did it a few weeks ago, I'm 33 weeks now...though I have 2 other kids so I'm just trying to get everything done early. We also dont know what we are having yet so there really wasnt that much to wash. I'm buying my hospital and postpartum essentials this week and probably packing my bag and installing the car seat base in the next week or so.
