Need help.....

Here is a little background first. I have always had regular periods until I had an iud placed in March 2018. I got it removed at the end of August 2018. I had a period in November and December. January I shipped my period but I had one in March and April. I know it is supposed to take a few months for my body to get back on its cycle. Well I started a week early and everything. Was light red for 5 days but now I am cramping and I spotted just for a moment today. My husband and I are trying to conceive but I don’t know how to understand all this. I’ve never had problems with my period or was never early ever.
