Stretch mark cream?

Just got my BFP over the weekend and I’ve been told to start early to prevent stretch marks. Is this a good cream? Worth it? Any recommendations? I should also note that I’m allergic to Shea which seems to be in many lotions and creams nowadays.

You can't prevent them with creams or lotions. Stretch marks form in the second layer of skin where topical products don't penetrate. Save your money and use whatever moisturizer you normally use for any dryness or itching. You may be able to minimize any stretch marks by staying hydrated and keeping weight gain to a minimum. In the end you'll get them or you won't.

Don’t listen to whoever told you that. You can’t prevent stretch marks from any cream or oil. They’re genetic, so if youre genetically prone to them you’ll get them regardless. It’s still a very good idea to stay moisturized but you don’t have to waste your money on expensive creams or anything

Just drink a lot of water! That’s what makes your skin more elastic. You may still get stretch marks though. 😕 its all about genes.

My sister in law is an esthetician and she has told me that belly creams are a crock. She recommends regular, organic shea butter to help prevent itching when the skin starts to stretch. 👍🏻
