Strange period

Ok ladies...doctors... ANYONE

I have a huge question about my period this round ...

I've had normal periods i guess since taking out my iud a year ago.

Trying to get pregnant is not going so well. So my periods hvae been the nornal pink spotting, light red heavy, then light pink and done. All while wwaring a pad.. ( not a fan of tampons)

Well this round it's been all dark brown burgundy almost and ive only wore a liner ??!

Why? what does this mean... Ive called to make an appt with ob gyn but its a month out ...
