Help?

Hey guys so me and my fiancé are getting married April 14 if next year. We’ve talked and we are thinking we want to try for a baby soon after (we are financially stable and mentally prepared)  but I’m very nervous about talking to my gynecologist about it because I’m only 18 and I’m afraid she’ll talk down on me because I very young. I’m I being silly or is this something I should worry about?

If your doctor tries to push their personal beliefs/opinions on you or judges you when you are asking for medical advice find a new doctor. Its not like you are 12 and asking about wanting to get pregnant...you are an adult and are capable of making these life decisions. The area I come from people getting married at 17, 18, 19 with babies right after is common. Some people are gonna say you are too young or to enjoy your 20s but if it feels right for you thats all that matters. Ignore their judging amd know everyone follows their own path. The fact you are reaching out for medical advice before you even start trying should show your doctor you are responsible and would take care of any baby. Congrats on the wedding and hope you get a baby soon after😊

First, congrats! Your getting married, its not like your a child. If your dr tries to talk you out of it, find a new one. They will most likely recommend you start taking prenatal vitamins. Its recommended to take them daily for at least 3 months prior, but sometimes poeple take tgem when they find out.
