When to stop birth control?!

I wasn’t 100% positive on where to post this question but I figured this was a good place to start! I am already blessed with one beautiful child but my husband and I are talking about TTC baby #2. I was on the pill before trying for our first daughter and it took 5 months for me to get pregnant after stopping my birth control. When should I stop taking my birth control when TTC baby #2? We want to start trying in June, so do I stop now, or wait until June to stop taking it?
