Baby has gas in the middle of the night

Hi! So we’re suspecting our 4 month old is going through a sleep regression BUT we’ve noticed some nights he’s waking from gas in the middle of the night. We’ve tried mylicon and gripe water and it doesn’t seem to make a huge difference. Any tips??
