When will you start baby on baby food?

No need for drs say as drs say a lot of things but every baby is different!  
I had one that started at 4 months 
One that didn’t start till a year 
And one that is 3 months tomorrow so we will see when he is ready!

Yeah, every baby is different, but I trust my doctor to give me the correct advice about my baby. Not starting him till 6 months, there's no need. Every baby is different, but their gut is all the same, and food too early could cause harm

I won’t be starting her untill she is 6 months old just like I did with my son. There’s no need to rush it food before one is just for fun.

We are doing baby led weaning starting at 6 months if she is showing all signs of readiness.

We let our 3 month old lick certain foods that have little seasoning and low allergen. She thinks it’s fun and she really shows an interest in food. We are waiting for the clear from doctor to start real food but will probably wait closer to 6months since we plan to do BLW

Ugh once you start feeding them you have to keep going and you have to start bringing food and snacks everywhere. I much prefer just getting the boob out, so my babe (like my first) will wait until 6 months and then get finger food ( we are big fans of baby led weaning). I’m also all about the food before 1 is just for fun and will not be force feeding her. But no judgements, people can start at 4 or any other time they would like...

My son started at 5-6 months and my daughter who is about to be 4 months old in a couple days tried squash today. Depends on the baby, if they are interested or not, mine was pretty curious about the taste. She was fussy in her bumbo seat but once she got a taste her eyes got wide and she smiled lol

My 13 yr old and 8 yr old both started baby rice at 2 and half months old at the time it was recommend from 3 months max is 14 weeks now and starting to show an interest in food although i still dont think he is quite ready yet welet him have little tastes now and again but thats all for now

I started mine on rice cereal at 3 month right before bed. It helped a lot with his acid reflux. I never gave it to him in the bottle. 18 years ago my daughter's pediatrician told me to always give them cereal with the spoon even if it's liquid to help stimulate the jaw

My doctor said we will talk about that at his 4 month appointment i believe he’s going to give me the ok to start rice cereal. But you are absolutely correct all babies are different some eat way more then others. Do what you feel is best for your baby parenting do not come with a handbook!
