Testing progesterone

Getting blood work done Tuesday to test my progesterone level. This is the first month TTC. Tuesday I will be 8 DPO. If I’m pregnant would they be able to tell? If I’m not and my progesterone is low what’s next?

Looking for anyone who has been through this.
