My boyfriend and I just recently started having sex, I'm 16, and I really want to get birth control. I would like to be protected from pregnancy all ways possible! which way is your guys' favorite form of birth control?

When I was 16 - 18 my favorite was the shot depo bc I was too young and busy to remember the pill and personally the IUD and all freaked me out now I use the pill and love it just what you think is best for your lifestyle

I was a huge fan of Ortho tri cyclene before my blood clot. Unrelated to the pill, my appendectomy caused it.

Currently, skyla, the smaller IUD intended for women like me who have an undersized uterus or who haven't had a child yet.

But you should do some research with some peer reviewed journals, papers and articles, then talk to Planned parenthood, or your OB, or if you're comfortable your mum before making your final decisions.

Be sure to protect yourself with proper condom use and Plan B if you think the condom may have slipped off or broken.
