Group b strep test question

I had my group b strep test a few weeks ago, it was negative but with my last 2 pregnancies it was positive.

What was different this time was they gave me the swab before I left my urine sample, got my bp tested and told me to do my swab myself. Every other pregnancy before, my midwife or ob did the test. The liquid that the swab goes in from the test tube leaked out and I told the nurse but she said it was fine and just took out another tube and poured the liquid from that into my swab.

I guess now that I've been thinking about it, I'm more concerned with if my results were really accurate. Personally I would have rather had my midwife do the test than doing it myself.

Has anyone else that had the test done , have to do it themselves?

* I have an appt next Wednesday, 2 days before my induction and will discuss the concern with my midwife.
