Did any of you ladies use Depends adult diapers after giving birth?

Im 38 weeks 6 days along and am getting things in my hospital bag final. One friend recommended Depends and said they were THE BEST thing to wear. Anyone else use them?

With my first I could have used them. I bled so heavily the first 5 weeks but with my 2nd I could use a liner. I just spotted for about 8 weeks.

Yes I actually bought always discreet underwear for right after at home and over night and they were the best. Super comfy and moisture wicking.  Totally worth it and I’m not ashamed!

I was going to however just as the other comment made the bleeding after baby had an odor to it and I wouldn’t want to be sitting in that so I just used hospital pads changed them every few hours regardless, they aren’t terrible I used them til I ran out which was about a week then I switched to always Infiniti pads. I don’t like the weird plastic lining some pads have they make me feel weird. Maybe they wouldn’t be bad to use at night but during the day no.

No. I used the always overnight, ultra thins. I didn’t even go through an entire pack with either of my pregnancies. After maybe a week I switch to regular flow pads. 
It’s like a heavy period really. I change mine every few hours regardless if they’re “full” or not. 
And not to be gross but the blood after birth has a distinct odor to it, so I feel like changing pads often is almost integral to not being “smelly”.
