When should I call the hospital?

My mom and grandma think I should call now, but in my opinion my contractions aren’t consistent enough to call. I thought they were supposed to be 5 minuets exactly apart before calling. I mean I’m a first time mom and I don’t know exactly what to look for or how it feels when labor is coming but I just don’t want to be one of those people who calls the hospital every day and asks.

Also I have a 45 minuet drive to the hospital and my fiancé is at work so I’d have to wait for him to come home as well.

Update: currently on my way to the hospital. I’m starting to feel extremely nauseous and the contractions feel worse.
