Does anyone have sciatica?

How did you know you had it?
Where is the pain/discomfort? (Back/legs/butt?)
I have felt so much discomfort on my left butt cheek today. I definitely didn’t have this with my first, so I’m just not sure if what I’m feeling is coming from the sciatic nerve. 
Anything would be so helpful :).

Mine is my lower back, tailbone, and hip/femur joints. And let me tell you.  Everything is uncomfortable. Sitting hurts, standing hurts, laying hurts. The only thing that’s comfortable is swimming... 😂😂😂

Yes! I have it for sure. Just in my right leg too. It feels like the pain originates under/deep inside my butt cheek and just shoots straight down my leg. Sometimes I get it in the front too. But the pain originates deep within where my leg crease is and the pain jumps straight down to about my knee. I find it difficult to walk, bend my leg, or put pressure on it and tend to walk like I have a peg leg.

Ugh I am dealing with this too! Right butt cheek, deep inside. It’s a sharp stabbing pain that takes my breath away. I couldn’t get out of bed this morning it was so bad! I’ve tried doing specific yoga moves and foam rolling but that seems to exacerbate it! I’ve been alternating a heating pad and ice pack. Seeing my doc tomorrow.

Going to the chiropractor was the only thing that helped. After seeing the chiropractor it got a little worse before it got better but now I am finally pain free after being in chronic pain with sciatica for about a month. I also looked for a doctor that specialized in prenatal.

I had it so bad I couldn’t put any weight on it. I’d get shooting pains up my butt/back anytime I put any weight on it, I couldn’t twist a certain way otherwise it’ll come aggravate it (or so it felt like). It went away withstretches, don’t push the stretches to where it hurts. Just stretch to where you can feel it stretching and slowly but surely you’ll be able to stretch it more and more without any discomfort/pain. It’s all you can do!
