Sad over baby size ?

Can you relate ?
I had my scan at 31+4 , my baby boy weighted 1393 grams (3lb 1,1 oz )
He’s measuring about 2 weeks behind. I fee so sad :/
Hoping he will catch up. Doctors is not worried at all but I can’t help but feel so bad :/

Ignore the GUESSED weight. Its extremely inaccurate, which is why most doctors dont do them.

They gain like a pound a week your last month. It will be okay. Plus nothing wrong with a baby being on the smaller side , not al babies are the same 💕

I'm surprised, that measurement sounds very normal to me for only 31 weeks. All my kids were 7 pounds or more when born.

Don’t feel bad! There’s a margin or what’s normal and that’s in it. It’s quite common to be ‘2 weeks behind’, especially with a first baby but it doesn’t really mean you’re behind as you don’t have to be exactly on the middle of the ‘normal’ measurement, just in the normal range. The baby is probably healthy and doing well if the doctors aren’t worried. It’s only really if you’re more weeks behind that it is actually an indication that there could be a problem. I have regularly measured a week behind :) x
