EWCM after ovulation?

I’m 5dpo (tracked by opk) and didn’t get ewcm while I was fertile/ovulating. But today I have it and I’m not even in my fertile window anymore. I’m confused. Does this happen often? Lol

Did you stop taking OPKs after the first peak? I have found that when I keep taking them sometimes the next one is even darker (I use the strips) and that’s actually my peak. Maybe your peak day was off by a day or two.

Could it be that you're ovulating now and not 5 days ago? Are you tracking with bbt?
