Only 1 embryo biopsied?

Question

So I had 12 eggs fertilized on 4/24 and this past Sunday was Day 5. I was just told that only 1 embryo was biopsied today and now I'm waiting to hear from the RE to see what is going on with the other 11 embryos. Is it possibly that the the embryo can  go to day 7 to be biopsied or even be viable? Does it sound like I'm going to loose all 11 embryos?

I have only heard of day 6 embryos.

Update: only one made it to day 6 which my RE was as surprised as I was. I'm speechless especially since we dont have any fertility issues. I dont even know where to go from here since our insurance doesnt pay for anything and we have to pay out of pocket.

I haven’t heard of Embryos going past day 6, with them telling you only one made it to biopsy, you may have only one. Hoping you get some clarification

I’m surprised you didn’t get more information. My clinic emails a report that explains what happens to each embryo and if they arrested, on what day.
It sounds to me like just the one made it to freeze. I’ve been there. 2 retrievals and one blast from each. 🤞🏼 for you!
