How long did it take for you to get pregnant?

I just recently quit my birth control after 5 years of taking it and some say it takes 3 months for it to fully get out of your system. My husband and I aren’t “trying” but we’re not preventing at the same time. How long did it take for y’all to conceive?

Over a year without previously using BC

I quit my BC after 10 years, took 3 months to conceive. Got back on BC for three months then got off & got pregnant again after 3 months

My doctor suggested I go off birth control 3 months before we wanted to try but he said  everything would be out of my system almost immediately but they suggested giving it 3 months so that my cycle could regulate. We did that and then I got pregnant the second cycle we were trying.

I had my implant out at the end of July 2018 and fell pregnant mid-October 2018 (I didn’t get my positive test until November 6th).
