Hey, I’m getting married in October and I’m on a really tight budget. I came up with my all of my prices and the total was $11,200 with a $5000 honeymoon included. Besides catering yourself (hamburgers & hotdogs), DIY decorations, my own photographer (photographer in the family), and an ordained minister from my family what other ways can I make my wedding be cheaper. The venue itself is $1700. I wanna spend no more than $4000 on the wedding so in total $9,000. Thanks in advance!

Also, when you buy your wedding dress do they charge you for alterations?

I am not having any alcohol, I am making my own cake and we have about 100-150 guest coming. There’s literally no way we can make it smaller. We are also not having a DJ or a wedding coordinator.
