Tax Return Question

I've called the IRS countless times and they won't tell me anything!

I filed my return 75 days ago now. I just called and someone finally said it's in review until May 9th. Does this mean they'll release my refund on May 9th?

Jessica: same here! I know they say not to make any plans until you know you're refund is coming but that's difficult because the majority of us are counting on that refund for one thing or another.

A: They didn't say anything was wrong with my return. The just kept saying (the many times I've called) it's a random review. Thanks for your insight though
