Getting sweep at 37 +5, likely to work?

Hi ladies
Having a sweep at 37 +5 as I’m attempting a VBAC and last baby was big so guess they want to help me as much as possible here. Do you think it’s likely to work? And what can I do to make myself favourable (for two weeks till the sweep) thanks.

Might be a little early to cause labor, but I’ve heard there’s a cumulative effect. If you do it at 37 and then 38 weeks it’s more likely to work

I had one at 37 weeks and it caused cramping and lost a lot of mucus plug over the following days but didn’t progress after that. I didn’t dilate more after either. I’m now 38+6. Hoping to have another sweep today. Maybe stay active and walk or bounce on ball after sweep. Sex. Good luck!

I had one yesterday at 39wks and 5 days, so far nothing other than cramping which has now stopped and a little mucus. Guessing it didn’t work but still a chance. Good luck!
