Possible early period?

Usually I get my period every 30 days. Today is day 24 in my cycle and my husband and I attempted to conceive this past month on my ovulation day ( April21) today when I woke up and wiped I saw some pinkish red and assumed it was my period (which is early for me) and put a pad on. But now there are only some slight spotting on the pad of a light brown and when I wipe nothing. Usually when I start my period it is just old blood . Could implantation happen this close to my actual period or can it just come early. I have also been eating less fatty foods and have been doing more cardio at the gym ( I am already regularly active though ) . Just confused.
